Membership

The Society for Romanian Studies (SRS) is an international scholarly organization open to all academics (faculty, researchers, and students) who have an interest in Romania and Moldova, regardless of where they reside. Independent scholars, writers, jurists, retired academics, diplomats, librarians, professionals working in the private sector, and others with an interest in deepening their knowledge of Romanian and Moldovan society, culture, literature, history and politics are also invited to join.

The SRS shall not serve as a platform for political propaganda or for furthering the political interests or agenda of any individual, institution or organization.

The Society for Romanian Studies has several types of memberships: 1) Regular Memberships; 2) Graduate Student Memberships; Joint Memberships with SEESA. We also offer several levels of supporting memberships. See Membership Categories for details.
